Waxahatchee - Catfish

I can’t stop listening to this record. It’s so so so so so good. Katie Crutchfield is the best and I glad I got to meet her last year. Even briefly. 

I move in about two weeks and the search for a car is proving to be the worst and most stressful thing ever. I’m also getting sick of my job, but I think it’s just the anticipation. I’m really ready for West Lafayette. I’m ready for the change. Every trip there has been better than the last, and I feel like me, Tony and Andy are really bonding and I can tell this is going to be great for me. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been this excited.

I also got to see Larry today, and me and Zack are friends again. So, besides the fact that I’ll probably get written up tomorrow or at some point this week because I called off, today was pretty good. I’m off Monday, so all I’ve gotta do is suffer through eight and a half hours tomorrow,.

It’s time for a much needed shower.

But on the bright side, I’m writing more songs, and I’m writing more of my short story. I’ve gotten past all the painful stuff and I’m ready for all the fun make believe stuff. 

I’m really hoping I get this car I found today. It’s got a tape player. And it’s purple. What else could I possibly need?

Had a pretty good day off, all things considered. I was supposed to go to Chicago to see Kevin Greenspon, but I didn’t and that’s the only bummer part. My mom gave me 20 bucks and I bought a few movies and cds, including Discount’s Crash Diagnostic and Matt Pryor’s first solo album for $1.88 apiece. 

Then my mom bought me Panda Express, which was delicious. And I got to ride my bad on a failed tape hunt at the thrift store. Now I’m gonna go watch more 30 Rock while I try and catch up on it. Which reminds me, the new episode of Community is up on Hulu! Stoked!

Sorry for this lame ass blog, I just remembered I had it, and all I really wanted to do was share this sweet RVIVR song off their European 7”.
